¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ offers learners of all ages opportunities to earn credits for degrees, certificates, job training programs or transfer to gain skills leading to jobs in high-demand, high-wage career fields.

We offer occupational programs, transfer programs, dual enrollment and Early College programs for area high schoolers, and workforce and industrial training. You can take advantage of transfer options through the Michigan Transfer Agreement and more than 100 articulation agreements with four-year universities, which provide seamless transfer of credits.

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ was established in 1965 and is focused on making a college education accessible and affordable. You can learn as you like at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, with classes in three formats – in-person, online and hybrid. 

Classes are scheduled on weekdays, evenings, and occasionally on Saturdays with two campuses to serve you, in Sidney and in Greenville.

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ faculty and staff are committed to helping students succeed.

With an average class size of 15 students, you’ll get personalized instruction in a variety of subject areas from faculty members who are among the best in their fields. You’ll be challenged and rewarded by our coursework, with faculty using the latest and most innovative teaching methods in all of our program areas. They also inspire you to think critically and creatively.

Student support services include academic and career counseling, tutoring, testing and accessibility.

The annual tuition at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ is a fraction of the cost of a private college or four-year university, yet we prepare you for the same careers and provide the same opportunities for success.

Accreditation

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. 

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ first achieved accreditation candidacy with the Higher Learning Commission in 1969 and was granted full accreditation in 1974. Since then, ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ has maintained continuous accreditation, demonstrating its commitment to quality education and institutional improvement. The college’s accreditation was most recently reaffirmed in 2018, with its next comprehensive review scheduled for 2027–2028.

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is an independent corporation that was founded in 1895 as one of seven regional accreditors in the United States. HLC accredits degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions in the United States. HLC is as an institutional accreditor, accrediting the institution as a whole.

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s Nursing Program has full approval from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
